Log!Ville welcomes four new partners aboard

BOMArobotics

On 01 September, BOMA became Log!Ville's seventh Innovation Partner. For half a century the family company has been creating and distributing professional cleaning materials, products and machinery in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. It focuses primarily on companies and institutions in a range of sectors, such as industry, logistics, healthcare, food and catering as well as in education and public agencies.

The BOMArobotics division has created a space at Log!Ville where cleaning robots can be continuously demonstrated to both logistics and other players. It will also be hosting numerous customer events at our Niel premises.

BOMArobotics offers the Whiz robot vacuum for simple layouts, the LeoBot family (Scrub, Vac, Mop and Tow), the multifunctional LionsBot R3 (which can also be operated manually) and the cutting-edge LionsBot Rex that can cover very large areas.

Robotic cleaning solutions offer countless advantages, such as the fact that a robot can be independently deployed multiple times a day, allowing a cleaner to focus on the less repetitive and less taxing tasks.

Convium

Convium is based in Kermt in Hasselt and specialises in managing and monitoring current stocks of indirect materials (which are used in a manufacturing process but are not part of a specific product or process) and MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) materials. Convium works with Austrian company TeDaLoS, which offers inventorying systems based on the Internet of Things (IoT).

Autonomous sensor units are placed beneath a bin, pallet or box pallet and automatically measure current stocks by detecting the consumption of materials without the need to conduct a physical inventory. The digital measurements are sent wirelessly to the TeDaLoS cloud multiple times a day, which means stock levels can be tracked online.

Restocking reminders are generated automatically as soon as a pre-set alarm level is exceeded.

Aside from physical product management, Convium also has expertise in streamlining purchasing processes and supplier optimisation and Sensolus track and trace solutions.

M-Protect

Kontich-based M-Protect develops and manufactures integrated high-end automotive security solutions that can be used to protect any type of vehicle (including cars, vans, trucks and/or trailers). The devices can be autonomous or integrated with onboard telematics solutions and can be tailored to specific security needs.

M-Protect offers two types of security solutions:

- Safeguarding access to the load areas of vans and trucks with additional mechanical locks, ranging from a manually operated bolt through to a digitally controlled safety lock.

- Securing vehicle ignition systems using a four-digit access code and/or an anti-carjacking solution that can detect whether the authorised driver is still at the wheel.

YuCopia

YuCopia, created by the high-tech company of the same name in Mechelen, is a platform that allows SMEs, sole traders and local and federal agencies to digitally manage all their procurements (goods, services, subscriptions, contracts and licences). Users enjoy the same leverage (in the form of bulk discounts) as multinational companies and gain access to markets that are normally unavailable to small companies. The fact that, from the perspective of the suppliers, the users of the platform are a 'single body', means that YuCopia can obtain large discounts. That means that on average an SME can save up to 30 percent on its general procurements.

YuCopia uses a smart virtual purchasing assistant called Laura, who monitors the stocks and budgets of the users, and who can also take the initiative to place a new order when given stocks are exhausted.
